Digital Mentoring - Terms and Conditions
The Digital Mentoring project aims to assist infrastructure groups working with H2R groups (as defined by Capacity Builders) within the North East VCS. Full information about the Improving Reach programme supporting this work is available at Vonne.org.uk
CITA undertake to provide strategic IT support and/or mentoring, tailored to meet the needs of selected Infrastructure Organisations for a maximum of 30 hours (5 x 6 hour sessions) for a 6 month period starting from 01/11/09.
Services: Strategic and planning, policy procedure, funding advice, limited technical support, limited training, compliance, best practice and accessibility.
CITA will offer a flexible service utilising a team of qualified support staff to address IT needs which are identified.
CITA and VONNE reserve the right to refuse/cancel support in the event that;
- Groups do not meet funders criteria
- Groups fail to fully engage with or commit to the process
- Groups fail to share the learning to their senior staff, managers, trustees and stakeholders as well as cascading it down to their members and those who they support.
- Groups make excessive demands of the service (the service is not intended as “technical supportâ€) and not intended for front line groups/individuals in lieu of paid for services (e.g. formal training, technical support, website design, etc.)
Recipient groups should expect that any external services signposted to such as training, hardware, web/database design etc. may attract charges.
CITA/VONNE expects that all elements of best practice and/or training are passed on to front line organisations supported by the host.
