In conjunction with Voluntary Organisations Network North East (VONNE) and Newcastle Council for Voluntary Service (NCVS) CITA developed training materials aimed at developing the strategic use of ICT within voluntary sector organisations. A series of funded workshops were run in each of the 4 sub-regions; Durham, Northumberland, Teeside and Tyne & Wear, between September 2006 and January 2007. CITA can now offer these services as a part of the NRFCR project (see Circuit Riding) or as a part of a stand alone training programme. Each workshop aimed to assist groups to produce policy and strategy documents. These in turn assisted in funding bids. As a development from this work CITA now offers the Net:Gain programme to address these aims. |
