CITA is in the advanced stage of planning a pilot project with the LSC under the Train to Gain banner. We are aiming to provide fully funded training towards an NVQ in IT (ITQ) and have the opportunity to train both staff and volunteers.

This project offers the prospect of a nationally accredited IT qualification, hands on experience and enhanced career propects in addition to strengthening the host group's use of IT.

The training will be undertaken on site at the host group and is planned to take the form of one-to-one mentoring. Various options for the duration of the tutoring can be explored but we aim to start in September 09.

We are partiuclarly interested in training volunteers and seek groups across the region that want to have their IT capabilities enhanced.
